This native to Europe is a fantastic little flower when it naturalizes. Self sows easily in a happy place, so they stay around for many years. Fragrant tufted alpine plant in deep pink purple blooms. Dwarf plant for the tiny spots or containers. Forms low cushions and little mounds. Looks great and does very well in rockeries, or a long a tough walkway including gravel and also on the front patio in a container. Seeds can be sown at any time, but are best sown in winter or early spring to benefit from a cold spell.
